God Bless You, I am grandmother to identical, twin 10-year old girls. The natty-dread cuties are black belts in taekwondo Korean karate and, by virtue of a close friend, one day heard a new tune by Raheem DeVaughn entitled, “What Are We Gonna Do.” The kids fell in love with the sound and have built an entire anti-gun violence production around that very tune. The production includes them doing karate forms they created, an accompaniment on their Recorders [both gifted musicians, african drum, piano and singers] and them reciting the Lord’s Prayer at the end.
It could stand next to Barack Obama’s new video, “To the Dreamer” any day and it should be TODAY! It brings to life another American dream.
Stay tuned, because we’re looking for agents and/or investors, but first who owns the rights to that music? Whoever you are, can we interest you an exciting, anti-gun violence project? God loves you and so do I!
